For those wishing to become practitioners, for existing practitioners, and for anyone interested in aquatic bodywork and therapy in water.
Come and join us for WATSU courses at a beautiful location, 2 minutes walk to the beach.
A life-changing learning experience with like-minded individuals that are passionate about warm water therapy, instructed by an aquatic bodywork specialist.
We have scheduled Watsu I and Watsu II to run consecutively as to make it convenient for those wishing to complete both in one go, or for those wishing to only take one or the other.

Cost: tuition per course is AUD $1590 (price includes vegan food supplies. We cook together, fun and healthy.)
Accommodation costs for 6-12 nights, subject to availability at the time of enrolment, are as follows:

Private room (Queen bed) with shared bathroom and ocean views - $80pn
Shared room (single bunk beds) with shared bathroom and ocean views - $60pn pp
This 3-story luxurious villa is complete with a huge and well equipped kitchen, a utility room with washing machine and iron etc.., balcony with sitting area and BBQ, living room, dining area, and much more. The villa has many nooks and corners great for either socialising or for quiet down time by yourself, and is within walking distance to shops and beach access.
About Watsu:
Watsu is an extremely gentle form of therapeutic aquatic bodywork conducted in warm water. It works at many levels, from the purely physical to the emotional and spiritual. Watsu has been shown to relieve pain, release tension and reduce stress. It increases the body’s range of motion, improves circulation and radiates warmth, promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing.

Anat Juran is an internationally qualified Watsu therapist and trainer.
WATSU I COURSE:
Watsu I is the first 50-hour module and the first step towards international practitioner certification.
It is also a lovely opportunity for anyone, practitioner or novice, to learn new skills, fine tune existing ones, be introduced to the world of aquatic bodywork, and spend 6 intensive days of personal learning and professional development in a unique environment gaining a memorable experience.
Students learn:
Techniques of how to stay grounded while floating a client in water
Practicing communication skills within a therapeutic context
Establishing body mechanics which utilise water properties
How to use breath to establish connection
The Watsu sequence (positions and movements)
Applying self care while supporting and moving others in water effortlessly
Applying grace within the flow of movements
Introduction to the concepts of Zen Shiatsu
Experiencing being held in water
Students successfully completing this course will be able to safely perform a simple 1-hour Watsu session, will be eligible for a ‘Watsu Student’ listing on the World Wide Aquatic Bodywork Association Registry (WABR), as well as be able to progress to the next module, WATSU II, in the practitioner certification program.
WATSU II COURSE:
Watsu II deepens the concepts from Watsu I by teaching students to:
• Expand on the basic movements learnt previously with additional movements
• Use movements and positions to apply bodywork
• Incorporate the concept of Zen Shiatsu into a Watsu session
• Use the learnt techniques in a creative explorative way
• Apply stronger stretches
• Follow the client’s tendency to move while using own movements
• Recognise expressions of emotions in the water
• Apply adaptive movements and positions
• Refine the grace within the flow of movements.
Perquisite: successfully completing Watsu I
Students successfully completing this course will be eligible to progress to Watsu III towards becoming an internationally certified practitioner.
